Henrique De Almeida holds a Masters Degree in Music Performance from The University of Southern Mississippi. He is a graduate of The Berklee College of Music in Jazz Composition. Henrique is currently living in Colorado where he keeps a busy schedule recording, performing live and touring nationally with The USAF Academy Band. A musician involved in the local community, Henrique is the co-owner and music director for the Percussion Institute of Colorado, PIC. (PercussionInstitute.Com)

He teaches at PIC and performs with his own group, The Brazilian Jazz Project. He is a LP Artist, a Vic Firth Artist and a Paiste Artist. A published author, he has educational materials available on Carl Fischer Publishing.
